Mato Numpty
Mato Numpty
I've just bought a Mato Sherman and am very pleased with the detail of the tank.
My only issue because I got it cheap because its basically a empty shell, I cant figure out how to release the deck from the hull?

Re: Mato Numpty
You should have screws underneath, not sure if it's only six on a mato

No need to undo the two screws that hold on the front transmission cover.

Re: Mato Numpty
Good morning,
Four to a side. They can be removed with a thin, Phillips screwdriver without taking off the tracks. Thereafter, you may want to consider magnets for catches. These Shermans are getting rare and really lend themselves to extra detail. They make fine tanks with a little attention.

Re: Mato Numpty
I can't really believe I got it for the money I did . Now having got inside (Cheers guys!)it has all the electrics that I wasn't expecting! I thought it was missing all these. It seems all thats missing is the transmitter.
Looking further I notice the main ounce is 12 pin and not the usual 9 that Taigen ir HL use. So can I get a transmitter or what aftermarket boards can I use ?
As it happens I've got some magnets coming today so I can finish off my King Tiger early turret, so that will be the 3rd tank to get that treatment. The Torro and Tamyia dont need it as you're aware.
I think it's too good to be a static model and what to use it. I love the fact all the that hatches open, so I'm going to get some crew. Hopefully from Dave at Forgebear as I always look there first because of the amazing service you get.

Re: Mato Numpty
You shouldn't share the link in open forum, because all the people (non members) looking in may buy them all up before you get the chance
