Mato M4A1 76mm Sherman Tank

Post by Harry Serpent »

Mato M4a1 76mm :O

This my Mato Sherman WIp .
The sherman has HL gearboxes and mato steel cleat tracks.
The turret still has to be lowered and bits and bobs fitted.

He is part of a set, from Xion 1/16 range.

You will need to replace the road wheel sets, drive sprockets and idler wheels with HL units or your tank will be much to tall compared to a HL Sherman. I haven't done that to mine yet and it looks ridicules when it is next to a HL Sherman.

Good Morning, Harry!
I've got one of these and they are perishingly rare these days. They can be turned into greatly detailed and fun to run versions of 'In The Mood' I'm on my third Airgun mechanism but besides that, the tank runs well with it's original controller and the 2.4 Ghz board set MATO put out for it a few years back. The sound set is very authentic and with a good speaker, sounds great. Following along to see what you do.
regards,
Painless
