Re: Wsn mid tiger rebuild
Hey there. Nice picture. Some more ideas, here is one I once found, just to get the idea of color plate vs reality
Do you have decals already?

There's a definite difference as to how much crews applied on top of the base colour... Makes you wish they'd filmed more in colour lol! My Pans more base, was going to do this one more green /red than the yellow..

Funnily enough, reference camo, remember reading a book by a shooting guy, reckoned for most of lowland Europe, beige/light brown better camo in most circumstances than the old green dpm/woodland camo, that was only any good near pine/evergreen forest. Tbh for the limited amount I now do, I tend to use old UK desert dpm (gw1) or yank chocolate chip. Certainly blends in with most grasses/straw especially in this hot weather...

Ok, update time, mudguards, bucket and barrel amongst other bits arrived today from Dave, decals here from peddinghaus, so better get cracking!
Job 1, move the turret motor round so the repositioned aerial is centre of the rotation lock. Turret guts are coming out shortly. Speaker mount cut away to allow turret motor reposition.. All the loose kit removed to get ready for zimming, did I mention the grilles?

I don't know if you have ever used "Peddinghaus" Decals before,
They are very high quality BUT a couple of things worth knowing is that they are VERY Thin and the Decals are not separate on the sheet,
Do make sure you cut around each one and very closely or you will have a lot of excess film and like I say they are thin so take care and good luck.

I think I am about to upset someone

Cheers Jarm, I used them on the pantiger and found exactly that; tbh I've used similar decals on other models over the years, it's one thing I've always done, cut tight to the decal to cut down on the shiny border. I've got one or two spares to trial on the zim surface (on a trial panel) I'll see how they fare on there, if they're rubbish I'll mask and spray instead

Re: Wsn mid tiger rebuild
Is this WSN Tiger a motorized version of the Hobby Boss upper?
Speaking of the Peddinghaus Decals, Thin they are, and the coverage of the numbers was sooo bad I ripped them off and just sprayed numbers using stencils. Hope you can get a better result.

I've a feeling it's an rc version of the trumpeter one Soeren, if that's any help?
Day 2 of cut the nuts off a tiger time.. Cupola lid opening, mudflaps aboard, escape hatch cut and fitted, ir detector removed from loaders periscope, drivers visor removed, that gorgeous barrel roughly aboard, and front armour humps ground down.
