This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

Bet he builds his quicker than you built yours :P
Hell, I'll bet Carl finishes both his before I finish this one. And does a better job. :/
When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!

Glad to see these mini tank hunters have gotten some of us excited ImageNot sure about speed and it would be very hard to outdo Mr Gary, but I have been working hard to her some progress on the lower hulls of both kits.

The An-Bri kit is a bit of a challenge for two reasons, one it's not historically accurate and the build requires drilling and tapping many metal parts. So with very sore fingers and some goggles to protect the eyes here's my work so far....

Much reinforcing with angle aluminum and aluminum bars. Many 3x20 threads and bolts ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Carl!
A lot of metal there. I am waiting to see how the AnBri-RC kit handles the idlers. Following along, Doc.

Good progress.
You should get a Ludwigs one as well and compare all three!

Adam as much if love to, and I'm sure it would possibly be hands down the best one, I may have to hold off before my wife decides to shutter me out of the house Image

Ok so with very limited time this week I've sorted the idlers on the An-Bri kit per his pictures on the cd included in the kit.

I've decided to go all the way with the blue star hetzer and order gearboxes idlers and sprockets from Ludwig's hobby.

As a result the blue star resin sprockets were left over so I decided to be creative, split them and rework them and use them as wheel covers for the unusual and somewhat strange parts provided in the An-Bri kit.

I must admit, this little beast is very heavy and I'm no where near done. I don't plan on driving either excessively so as to preserve all my work on these delicate models.

I've ordered a set of metal Panzer IV tracks for the An bri kit. Obce these arrive I can align the suspension and dial it in. Image

Thanks guysImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Carl!
It looks great! I am kinda of set back by how the idlers seem to naturally tie in with the rest of the An-Bri-RC version. That sort of sums up the mans work. You don't expect much out of it then are completely surprised when reality seems to 'shift' and everything just suddenly works. Following along,
