Cut off Herr Wittmann's legs.
Re: Taigen Tiger I Mid
And as I sit here looking at him, I'm noticing things. I need to add the gun travel lock. And the aa mg mount. And an armored hull mg, and... and... agh!

That is a really impressive job of work,
I don't know how keen you are to fit the "Travel Lock" but if it helps as you probably know the term "Mid" with reference to the Tiger 1 is a designation that we the builders gave it not the manufacturer and depending on what you think changes an early to a mid and a mid to a late will give you the unofficial date of the change,
The German Armed Forces only had the Early and the Late as identifiers,
The travel Lock was fitted from November 1943 onwards.
So the question is does that make it a Mid?
My opinion for what its worth is that makes it on the cusp of early /Late.

I think I am about to upset someone

I have the lock, just forgot I did. I want to add it. The other features date it to the correct timeframe. I.e. the relocation of the shovel from the glacis, and before fitting of the steel rimmed roadwheels.

Gah. So much for "just a quick repaint."

Nice choice of electronics, good looking tank, Mr. Maccrage and very well said, Mr. Bix.

Just waiting on the Clark board now.
Trumpeter MG34s and mount, and the Tetra extinguisher. Can't remember who made the travel lock.
