PAPER PANZER BUILD

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

Re: PAPER PANZER BUILD

Just home this weekend from a very long stretch at work so I had some time to finally rest, see the family and do some tank work.

Finally sorted the SD card issue with my computer so the IBU is tested and ready to go. For now the Clark tk60 board will remain. Been studying for some time a proper paint scheme for this beast, of course it's a paper panzer, and part of the fictional 1946 campaigns. The red oxide primer will remain on the road wheels. I decided to go with a light coat of armour sand and a mix of panzer green and interior green from testors.

I wanted to make the green stand out and the lighter shade of interior green, not used by me until this piece makes it work for me.

Much more to do, chipping filters and washes will be added as time allows. Image

Thanks for looking in!ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Thanks Adam, still thinking about some things to make it remain different but not to overdo it.

Good morning, Carl!
Paint rings? Just get your self a stiff section of automotive type coolant hose. Cut to length to fit in your hand then dip in the paint of your choice and apply your rings.

Painless

How about red/brown diagonal lines like this?

Skip to the end and turn the music down :)
