Very nice - Now up-scale your hobby!
1:16 was my scale. Until 'Konan' came into my life... an Armortek 1:6 Tiger 1!
... Now followed by a Panther G, 'Gunther'!
I'm a happy man.

Rather annoyingly I too have just acquired some blueprints from the tank museum to start a cromwell as very first scratch build. Like yours I will be using plasticard but I’m currently stripping my truck down to see if I can use its suspension coils and shocks in the Cromwell
It’s your tank it’s what you make it

Hello everyone
It's time for a small update again.
I decided to try making some weld lines.
I'm not a big fan of wasting material, so I didn't practise before.
Sorry for the bad pictures.
Thinking this was a big success I decided to press my luck and start the painting process.
Nice bit of primer (also primed my hand )
Than a layer of black and hairspray.
Green and a bit more hairspray.
And some more black camo.
The result of some water and the hairspray for the chipping effect.
The result so far.
Now just waiting for the custom decals and dust weathering kit.
With all the small parts I probably wont be driving her much.
But I did buy something that I will be driving a lot.
Just need to pick her up in the UK.
Greetings Tim Biersma
