Some pictures of a few hours worth of progress:
Made the hatches movable.
Mounting of the tools on the side.
Driver's visor. I also made a little slot in it, which will be more visible after painting (I hope).
I opted for the pistol port, as I might want to use the escape hatch in a future project. Gaps will be filled later.
Difference between the Tamiya KT jack and the Hooben one.
Also made the basket for the signal flares.

Well that's actually a lot of progress!
1:16 was my scale. Until 'Konan' came into my life... an Armortek 1:6 Tiger 1!
