An interesting commission - KV220

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

Wow, at least there is an example to work from. Ok I'll add it to the list, I think it will be a way down the list though....... :D

It would have to use sherman tracks with possibly a KV1 as a lower hull to build from. It would need a low profile gearbox as well. Maybe one of these days.....

I fancy a go at Object 279 when I've had a lot of practice...... And a printer!

I'll have a go eventually, I'm thinking worm or planetary gears to make it fit.

Having (mostly) bought Wibbly's T90 I'm thinking TOS-1 for the one I already own. Again, a lot of practice needed first!

The KV220 went to it's new owner today who was very happy :D :D :D so that's another build successfully completed.

Hey Alwyn

I found a way to take the files from world of tanks and print them on a 3d printer.
Maybe this can help you.

Hi Biertje, that would be most interesting to many members, perhaps you could publish the details on a new thread, say under 3d printing?
