Hi all, the start of a new project, beginning with a torro upper hull which had frontal damage that I got for a good
price and a pile of parts from dave (forgebear)

Tasty bit of kit there, Ludwig, and also a timely reminder of Forgebear's supportive presence in the background. I must say, the Taigen/Torro metal hulls have really matured since they first appeared. Having that neat little switch/ battery recharge unit is also a decided bonus, although they don't always situate it is the most convenient position. On the King tiger, for instance, the switch unit is obscured by the turret when the barrel is in normal battery position.

Thanks lads for the supportive comments. yes dave is the best, what he says he does with no messing about, he even
personally delivered my first torro tank which was the king tiger.
I was pleasantly surprised when the lower hull arrived with all the switchgear fitted, it all went together with ease in
just over a couple of hours, I hope to give it the paint job it deserves

I would recommend changing the inert plastic gun lock for a working one it really enhances the tank.
