Soviet medium multi-tower wheeled-caterpillar tank T-29-5
History of creation T-29.
The development of the middle wheeled and tracked tank in the USSR began in 1933 with the preparation of the Auto-armored Bureau of the technical department of the ECU OGPU of a number of sketch tank designs that represented the further development of the BT-2 tank and largely relied on the T-28 tank recently developed. In 1934, the experimental T-29-4 and T-29-5 tanks were built at the Kirov plant in Leningrad, where the T-28 was being developed at the time. In 1934-1935 T-29 tanks underwent many tests, including comparative tests with T-28.According to their results, it was concluded that the T-29, although more complicated in production, but is of great interest due to the high speed and good maneuverability.By results of tests in 1936 at the Kirov factory the reference sample ?-29 was made. There are no reliable information on the combat use of the three T-29 samples manufactured. T-29-4 was transferred to the test site in Kubinka, where it was before the Great Patriotic War. In the fall of 1941 it was transferred to the 22nd Tank Brigade. What happened to him afterwards is unknown. T-29-5 was dismantled in 1938. The reference T-29 in the same year was rearmed with the L-10 gun. After the beginning of the Soviet-Finnish war, this tank was repaired and on February 13, 1940, "went to the disposal of the ABTV of the 13th Army." However, nothing is known about the combat use of the tank, nor about its future fate.

Re: Soviet medium multi-tower wheeled-caterpillar tank T-29-
By historical tradition, I have begun construction of T-29 in the course of release of T-28.
I cut elements of the T-29-5 case from parts of the T-28 set.

I have cast the first trial wheels for T-29-5 from the master of the model made manually. Not really good work , later I will replace them with correct.

Now the T-29-5 tank looks already on another, but I think everything it will be interesting how everything began and what mistakes were at the beginning of a way. I am right?

These models are looking really good, I don't think anyone has ever built a set of Russian armour before?
