Panther Gs Detail upgrades

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

Hey there guys, long time, no read. Was busy acquiring even more Panther kits, although in 1/35th scale

Cheers Marko for your kind words.

This weekend I was in the mood to care about the road wheels and gave em pin washes and some oil paint treatment.

Thanks guys and you are right. They need to be put on the tank. Got the tracks, idlers and sprockets today from rctank.de. So will be able to carry on soon.

Soeren I'm in the middle of my panther build with the late steel road wheels. I stumbled upon this picture and wondered are these king tiger transport tracks and 18 tooth sprockets in this photo?

I have the panther G sprockets tracks and idlers and this version looked quite interesting Image

Looks like some King Tiger running gear the road wheels aren't the Panther steel wheels as well. Interesting finding. Panther II ? https://tankandafvnews.com/tag/panther-ii/

Hi Soeren

Nice work, any news about the gearbox . Waltersons might have discontinued the brass geared ones , the metal gears are noisy .
