Hellcat scratchbuild...

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

It is Pete but to be honest it only works out to be a couple of mm too wide so I can live with that...

Hi Frank thought it would be tight across the gearboxes , shame no one does cheap transverse gearboxes which would help when making smaller tanks .Will be watching the build .

I like to keep as much stock gear as I can when it comes to the running gear to help with reliability and ease of repair..I've seen some beautiful scratchbuilt stuff which either becomes a static or costs a fortune to repair due to small breakages of either expensive or impossible to replace parts...it may upset the purists but I think it's better in the long run..I like to build my tanks to be run..

Looking good Frank, and as I have one in my War Thunder stable that is an epic piece of kit, I will pay extra special interest. :P
