1944 M36 B1 Tank Destroyer
Good afternoon,
Giggling like a school boy after the Post brought me the M36 B1 that I had purchased off of Jackalope through the Forum here. I've already started ordering parts and detail bits to stock back for this amazing, all metal beast. I hope to have it all put together and running by early Spring. It truly is a drool-worthy piece of Armor. Pics:

It made it in 1 piece?! That's freaking awesome and equally amazing! I am SO glad the USPS gorillas didn't ruin it for you. But then I did pack it WAY better then MATO did.
Can't wait to see what you do to her and I'll be watching your build with great anticipation.

Good afternoon,
You did a Sterling packing job, my friend and nothing shifted at all. ;o) This will be a sweet build, some rewiring and adding some Tamiya detailing. Tao, It's got a really nice Clark TK board in it. I'll probably just add the smoker that Jackalope sent along and reuse all of the stock wiring and receiver.
regards,
Painless

Looks great so far! I always liked this model ever since seeing Tom H's and Dr. Phibes posts about it!

Get that tin lid off and do the interior, it makes it a really nice finished tank. I love mine, runs like a champ, and is a great IR battle tank as a result.

W.W.,
That is one great running M36! I'm waiting to hear back from MATO as to which parts they are sending me to suss out the electronics and wiring. This one will be Crazy Joe's Command.

Painless

That is a great looking and running tank! How does it compare moving around wise in battle to all your others?
