1944 'Elefant' by Hooben

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

1944 'Elefant' by Hooben

Post by PainlessWolf »

Fed Ex came super early this morning and brought me a very much awaited thing. This Elefant will be a Winter build so I'll spend some time on it doing more research and picking out a paint job. I ordered the metal barrel with it but a few more detail parts in metal won't hurt. ;o) Pics:

Wow! Did you sell that extra kidney you had?
FedEx lost my stuff from Imex, glad they didn't lose yours.

Good afternoon,
AdLav, thank you, Sir. This build is still in the research stage but I will get busy on it after a few other things that are on my plate. Jack! ;o) I was going to joke with you about a kidney but not after Fed-Ex losing your stuff from IMEX. I hope that they find it ASAP.
regards,
Painless

It finally arrived; awesome!!! (yea, fed ex threw my imex box (w/ heavy KT2 wheels etc) on the porch the other day; they did not know i was home, but I heard it plain as day hit the porch; it ticked me off)

Very interesting Painless. As you find the time, I would like to know what electronics come with the tank if any. Also, is everything in the box to make it an operational tank? Following along, thank you.

Good morning,
P2M!, Hah! yes, I met the fellow outside when I saw him pull up. There's one dedicated driver for out here in the Boonies and he seems to be a nice chap. Jtracks, very good, sir. I plan on taking some time today to open it up, remove instructions and have a good read ( work permitting )
regards,
Painless

I've seen a few of these rumbling around battlefields, they have a sense of purpose about them, the main one being to blow the cr*p out of everything else whilst being immune to enemy fire. A wise choice sir.
