geed evening gents!
finally got the time to revise my FCM F1 after idler wheel design failure.
thank goodness i made this tank in sections! so i undid the tensioning idler housing and did a redesign
redesigning consisted of a Y bracket driven by a single M3 hex screw and nut inside the housing.

so ive decided to screw in the m3 screws into the road wheels, trailing and front jockey wheels underneath the idler wheel to eliminate horizontal play and also the detaching of the 2 piece wheels.
wheels this many i wish i rather service the tiger 1 and panther...
here is a top overview of the housing itself
and a singular piece of the housing and idler wheel attached.

i tore the gearbox floor from the hull itself because it really needed to be redone due to its version not having proper fasteners onto the mounting platform and the hull platform
that also the difference between the old housing and the new housing.

now doing the other side of the tank
ugh.... MORE WHEELS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
also the 2KG dumbell is just enough to press down the hull panel down to let the glue set in.

note to self:
make 2nd prototype to production model to use M3 fasteners to secure the hull much better.
