Gig's 1:16 FCM F1

This section is for builds that are not strictly Tamiya or Heng Long. For instance, replacing the electronics from a WSN or Matorro, or even a scratch-build.

Well done. However, the video does not appear. It says it has either been removed from Facebook or is not visible due to privacy settings.

for 4 years after on and off projects for better equipment and designs.

shoved in a heng long 6.0 and a mato 5:1 gearbox and i couldnt believe my eyes she runs smoothly. almost.. disregard for the roof falling apart, after all she is still a work in progress.

 Really well done!.
I can imagine how satisfying it must be to see your design up and running. :D Just remember to tape the loose parts down, before you come to the next steep bridge! ;)

And there’s me thinking it was due to a direct hit from a Tiger 1 lol

will need to refine more on the tracks and pins. some of the glue got caught on the return gliders and tracks got wedge in due to the pins being too long

id say this is good hull evaluation and will refine further

after some tests and adjustments and a field repair of a cracked hull side.

i have a conclusion to redesign the wheels and probably another set of better looking tracks and its trailing wheels for better track engagement and keeping it inline.

the field repair was done on the screw mount where it connected the hull and the track housing. will add more screws to the tensioner housing as well for better rigidity.

hull construction will consist of dove tail connections.
