You did a great job on that PPSH. The colors look good, and the strap really sets it all off! This is a very cool build.

Good evening, Mike,
I'm glad you like the work (fun) so far! I painted and weathered the bottom of those mud scrapers tonight and did a little hatch detailing ( paint and Tamiya powders ) Another update soon once I collect a few pics.
regards, my friend,
Painless

Great work throughout this topic. It has defintley given me some food for thought. Like you I love this tank but havent changed anything externally, intside is another matter.
I have changed the MFU for a Clark TK60 S-bus (maxmekker) and have modified the wiring on the standard smoker to work with it . The results are great. I`m using a small Lipo battery as the space inside isn`t great. I`m still thinking about a speaker .

Good morning,
Thanks, Dark! If I do anything else to the electronics, it will be to match my HG Radio to the Receiver supplied by Taigen. I actually like the sounds on this one. I will eventually get Maxx' nice speaker remounted once I get over the willys that using a LIPO battery gives me. Last things to do, detail wise, is to assemble and mount the cupola MG and do some weathering with an airbrush. I hear you about the space. Same issue with the KV-2. Tank is huge but inside lower hull space is limited because of the hanging smoker. I did manage to get one of Maxx' excellent speakers mounted in the 'Palace' but that was because no hinge was used and the lock and bar latch are at the rear by the gearboxes. ( Hmmmms )

Good afternoon,
With the mounting of a couple of tarps and the DShK mg, the IS-2 detail build is complete. Here are a few pics of the last build work. Paints used were Model Masters Rattle Cans and Bottles over Tamiya fine plastic\metal primer. I already mentioned the clear 3M DS tape. That was used in conjunction with the Loc-Tite Ultra Gel adhesive for mounts. I will put up a proper Show-Off thread once weather allows allows me to do another outdoor video so hopefully tomorrow.

Beautiful modeling! That machine gun kit looks great. I look forward to seeing it in action.
