DEATH OF THE KING - A QUICK PROJECT
Re: DEATH OF THE KING - A QUICK PROJECT
Wow amazing how you pump out those side projects in no time. Really nice build of spare pieces.
Re: DEATH OF THE KING - A QUICK PROJECT
This is a great idea for usage of accumulated "spare" parts and using them for a total build. Using that build as a static bit of scenery is another great idea. I like thus a lot!

Re: DEATH OF THE KING - A QUICK PROJECT
The washing is done
Bit of chipping, a bit of a rub here & there with a pencil, tracks painted, fitted & pencil rubbed.
I did blow the camo colours over the cables , but only lightly.
Barrel is 'shot-off' & looks ok.
Turret numbers to do, then a light dust over with buff to blend in.
I will work on the base for it over the week and next weekend.
Looks alright for a chucked together hash up of spare bits.
Once the base is mocked up I can decide on the cutting of the running gear off at an angle or not.

Re: DEATH OF THE KING - A QUICK PROJECT
I hope to get the turret numbers on it this coming weekend.
Pigment and the base will soon follow.
Of all things, I think I need a torro M16 half track to use as a feature in the display scene. Now I know they are a popular item, but if anyone has a tired old version, I'd love it. Prefer with no Quad-.50 turret in the back.
This KT seems to lend itself to having been pushed off a road into a shallow ditch, with a half track traveling past in the other direction stopping for a photo opportunity !!
Been doing odd jobs on others tanks to fill in time, still building up to the next proper project.
