hi british
the guys have covered pretty much everything, there are more vendors out there than there are fleas on a dogs bum, ive built a late tiger, and there are loads of details to change, but thats part of the fun of this hobby, and it dont all need to be done at once, i would say though dont buy from tankzone, way too dear, if you need something and dont know where to get it the guys here will point you in the right direction

Welcome to the forum Ollie, you choose the right tank to start with because there are more after market parts for the Tiger than any other tank, but dont let everybody scare you away from tank zone because the price you see is the price you pay there (no p&p) sometimes they are cheaper sometimes they are not, but it is always worth checking the for sale or wanted sections on this forum before you go anywhere else as you can get some good deals from trusted people.

If I was doing this again I would definately go for the RCTank hull. It will save you no end of time, money and frustration. There is no way that you could build that to the same standard by buying the parts seperately, and it looks as strong as an ox. My flabber has never been more gasted, why oh why didn't they do this 6-12 months ago!! ::)
