Rob, I admire the work you have accomplished with the "concrete" and "zimmerit." I agree with you about the primer--it was too brown. But your Dunkelgelb, as it's showing up in the later photos (after the cell phone camera decided not to make it gray :wtf: ) solves the problem. It will be fun to see how you proceed, and I wish you a short time to an expanded hobby room.

Hello Jaap.
Jaap does sound very Dutch to me, or am I mistaken?
Anyway Jaap, these crewmen come from Licmas tanks in Germany.
He has 2 sets as you might have noticed in my pictures, 2 in a Winter outfit, 2 in somekind of an Autumn look.
But...if I might give you a tip, check at Aliexpress for tank crews or soldiers.
All my other figures come from China.
They deliver within 14 days, and prices are very good, but they need to be painted and glued together.
Just give in :
"1/16 German resin soldiers" and you should be able to find a lot of them.
If you are from the Netherlands, from June or July on, the Dutch customs will ad extra VAT (BTW) onto each package coming from China!
Till than, goods are free of taxes up to an amount of 21 euros or so.
So check it all out before they ad the extra taxes......but on prices among 10-15 euro (which these resin guys mostly do cost), the extra amount of taxes won't be so dramatic I guess.
It's all up to you....
Good luck.
Rob.

Hi Rob,
You are right, I am Dutch :D

But as I am living in Russia, BTW is not important for me.

Thanks for the great tip on the figures, I found a few very nice ones.
Was also looking for Russians but they is much harder to find.

that I have to glue them and paint, is just what I want :D

Mattias Lickel, Licmas, sells all kinds of figures, painted and unpainted. I have had good experience with Licmas--although my budget has been dented. Every 18 months or so, I put in a big order because it's more price effective to have a lot shipped to the US at once. (How's that for a lame excuse?)

Thanks, nice links although they are expensive.

I found (and ordered) these germans so far:

1. https://aliexpress.ru/item/33000643235. ... 6908431823

2. https://aliexpress.ru/item/32844960086. ... 5767108552

3. https://aliexpress.ru/item/32843869148. ... 5691766600

4. https://aliexpress.ru/item/400038832484 ... 1586690891

Still looking for Russians because they are much harder to find.
I did find however some guys in Russia who make great weapons.

Sorry if I am misusing somebody else thread by the way.

Jaap

Jaapie, those are the same figures I have.
They are nicely detailed for that price. On the tank commander I did ad the wiring towards the headset.
Good to hear you found what you needed.

Rob, awesome job. I’m looking to make my own Stug side skirts. Do you have a template for your side skirts and railings? What is the width of the brass strips you used on you model?

Thanks

Carl
