Heng Long T-34 Project
So I thought instead of making new threads very time I do something to my T-34 I could have one and keep it updated, like a progress thread. Plus is will be good to look back on
Firstly I’d like to thank everyone for the huge warm welcome in the introduction post and all the help you have given me and the DM’s! So thankfully I found this forum
Today was the first step in my T-34 adventure and the best place to start was the paint job while I wait on upgrades coming. I didn’t notice how ‘different’ the stock paint job actually was until I put a more accurate paint job on it
I am using Vallejo’s Soviet WWII colour pack. Excellent range of colours, this is just the primer but already looking miles better. I cannot wait to get to the weathering stage I also have a few decals coming to get a feel of what I prefer before getting stencils

It can be quite surprising sometimes just how much better a bit of 4bo or reactive green makes these Russian tanks look.
It’s your tank it’s what you make it

The prices some people charge on eBay for accessories is pretty shocking, its amazing what you can find in your garden. ‘Logs’ sized for where I want them, not sure if I want them on both sides and an old white T-Shirt tea stained over night for sand bags etc

But sometimes a bargain turns up, I bought a pack of different sized chains and included was a pack of different size rope,
Ideal for tow ropes when united with an ABER PE Tow Loop.on different types of vehicles and a multitude of other uses.

If you look into the dark depths of the airing cudboard you may find some old pillow cases to dye for tarps as well
It’s your tank it’s what you make it
