Maxing out the HL Receiver Board. Tested with Thermal Camera

Post by Tech-Com »

This is Version 5.3 Board

Thought this might be useful to some. 30watts seems all I am comfortable with. I didn't drive it to failure, don't have the money to waste lol.

**Do not go up to 10V even if you limit the current. I killed the sound function on mine. Speaker just makes clicking sounds now. Everything else is still working.

Neat! 8| You certainly earn top marks for the most recent 'off the wall' post. It's both welcome and original!
A wee bit of empirical research, can only add to the fund of know-how this Forum is amassing  B|

Awesome. I was particularly drawn by the heat of the wires

Although you referred to the board as a receiver board, did you mean multi function unit (control board)? The Taigen ones have a cooling fan, it would be simple to fit a fan to a Heng Long board.
