Here’s a shot showing how much better it looks without the jerry cans and I’ve added the proper tow hook.

What you did here is plain awesome. So much thought to build this unique tank.

Thank you, Soeren. It’s been a very educational and enjoyable build.
Herman Bix, I also have not seen any photos of Tigers pulling anything. However it would look cool pulling a Flak 36/37. Maybe just to reposition it somewhere near Leningrad or something. I’m kicking around the idea of building a display diorama someday. Hmmm.

You should pursue that diorama mate, your tank certainly deserves all the accolades a completed scene would bring.

This looks spectacular. Although I've never completed a diorama I've always wanted to make one. I agree with Herman, go for it!

Thanks, gentlemen. By golly I think I will. How come the Flak models are in 1/18 scale instead of 1/16?! I see them on eBay for about $75. Is that scale discrepancy a deal breaker?

Compared with the old 21st Centuary toy version they are closer to scale, so probably the best you wil get right now - I got both of mine for sub 50 quid, but they are in short supply these days. If you want it you gotta pay :(

The old Denix 1/16 diecast models will cost you a kidney if you can find them.

Thanks for the info Tiger6. I just ordered one (Merit International) for $71 with free shipping. I love watching these beasts being fired on YouTube videos.
