Its winter now so some more work on the tanks. New lower hull , side skirts , adding detail and paint. Making skirt holders a pain 3 parts to solder Going for the red lead showing due to shortage of paint. Just need metal sprockets, idlers, metal tracks . Wondering how to do the optics , thick perspex sheet cut to size ? Another problem is chain , what size are the links for track holders ?

For chain, go to a cosmetic jewelry shop and look for a cheap necklace or better, they may sell chain off a roll.
For me, I look at the shape of the link to be round section rather than flat as a lot of that kind of cheap costume jewelry stuff is.
Please do tell us the look on the face of the young lady behind the counter when she asks if you need help, you tell her what you want, and then she asks what its for
Its gold, trust me !!

Every time i look at this more needs done. Outer wheels , strip above cylinder for cleaning rods and chain . Done some chain and pins for track and c hooks . Used soldering iron with a strip of brass to do torch marks on rear edges of turret . Might just use a Taigen G lower hull rather than fix outer wheels

Spotted another problem sprocket position. Suppose the Taigen lower is almost accurate?

Found a fix in the TIPS AND TRICKS. Chop lower front and move gears back looks ok now. No big gap

Turret internals scrapped and servos fitted , slip ring and some old sockets glued onto rear of turret base for counter balance to improve rotation.
Big servo for turret rotation , used 2 gearwheels as servo was in wrong position 1st time .
Two gearwheels moved servo further back and easier to adjust fit.

lower front plate fixed and no gap now. Cutting out the front must have fixed the slight warp .

Cool to see how everybody attempts the Servo mobility differently
Where dis you find the various gearwheels, printed by yourself?
The motor and gears in the front, where did you get those from? Would be nice to hear your review once you move the tank.
