Tom that is an interesting and exceptional piece. Can't wait to see you bring it to life

Thanks Carl, the red oxide stooog as it's become known in the club had become a running joke as gary had been building it for about 4 years. I took pity on it and will hopefully get it finished a bit faster!

Good morning,
Well, you can't blame this Gary fellow for wanting to hold onto his bit of the 'StuG Life' for as long as possible. ;o) It's easy to see a lot of work has gone into the vehicle. Looking forward to your finishing touches!
regards,
Painless

What happened to the four Jagdpanthers that he was doing (about 6 years ago) ? lol.
Nice Stug you have prised out of him, it's got everything that it needs to be a top build.

All the upgrades look fantastic already. Do you have experience with Stugs and can tell how accurate the HengLong, Taigen Stug is atually?

I did a similar conversion for a mate recently. The various hobby brand StuG's seem pretty right for accuracy, and with all the aftermarket bits available, easy to pick a version & make it right.
The swing Schurzen armour of the lates are robust and easy to make, so I'm well tempted to do one for myself some day.

If it's anything like your last one it'll be a treat for the eyes!
