Re: Detailing a HL Tiger 1
Hi Have Taigen and HL moved the turret ring into the correct position on the tiger? Nice upgrades going on here, filling the gaps round the mantlet is a good fix. The mudguards are ace.

Re: Detailing a HL Tiger 1
Hi, again…
Oh, awesome blueprints for turret mod... I think that I could to live with a wrong positioned turret, but this plans are very exciting
Thanks for them…
Now, I show you the new work on my tank… I opened the snorkel cover for to place smoke unit's oil feed tube
First, I cut the cover…
Second, I drilled two 3mm diameter holes for magnets, and I put them into.
Third, I closed the hole with plasticard, to seal it from dust (also, I will put a toric joint in hole). Center hole is for oil tube
Finally, I covered all job with original cover but, now, it's movable. In the cover "ears", I put two small metal pieces to grip with the magnets, obviously
Thanks for viewing

OK, good work
Re: Detailing a HL Tiger 1
Chris Ludwig used to offer a conversion kit that was a pretty simple way to relocate the turret and didn't require any major surgery. I cant see it on his website anymore but if you're interested it might be worth emailing him.

Re: Detailing a HL Tiger 1
Hi all
This is a second part post about snorkel's cover. I made the hinges as real ones are ( or I tried to reach it)
Cover closed with two articulated axles joined by two vertical arms.
Cover opened with the upper axle working
Finally, cover opened with lower axle working
Thanks for viewing... Stay safe
