Thanks, the hard part is to balance the three colors so that no one color is overwhelming at any one particular angle. That's the hard part about models, I know they didn't really do that with camouflage as it was painted on in the field, sometimes at haste but on a model it needs to be done.

I get the best result by painting the lightest color, followed by the darkest, then add the mid color (in this case the green) to balance it all out.

Winter white wash time. Two coats of hairspray, followed by a coat of white with a few drops of tan to knock the brightness down. Then scrub the white off in vertical brush strokes to simulate the weathering of the rain/snow run off. Then use washable white to create tiny streaks from the roof coat running off.

use a ruler to make straight lines

After they are on use some water and lightly stump the lines

Interesting result. Especially the washable white looks promising. The other mission Models color looks completely different though. Less vibrant than some of the other brands.

I don't use mission models paint, I stick to Tamiya, mig, some ak interactive and for certain shades of enamel I still prefer the old testors. Everything on this model will be acrylic except the rubber wheels which I'll use enamel as it won't chip during RC use.
