LEOPARD 2 A4M CAN

Post by DNAR »

Here is my base for this build. DKLM full metal chassis. I'm yet to get the Heng Long upper hull for the project. Loads of scratch building and detailing so this will take over a very long time. Full reference is from my friend over at Armorama, Jason Bobrowich. He is a retired Leopard 2 tank commander. So I will be getting first hand advise from a great model builder and tank commander that knows this beast inside out. His reference includes all detail walk around including maintenance photos of the tank. All 3 versions of MBT that serves in the Canadian Army (Leopard 2 A6M CAN, Leopard 2 A4 Can, Leopard 2A4M Can). Total of 1700 photos!

No I'm not a member. Just happened to like Leopards, Challenger and most of British modern tanks and ARV.

Yeah, I've seen it. Good people and very helpful. I see you've got the Hull, Turret on Ebay. Congratulations! Wish I can also score one soon. What do you have in mind for the build?

Cool your doing a Panzerhaubitze 2000. Are you doing it with add on armour or just the plain one?

Nice! The tracks will be slimmer as compared to the leopard 2. The drive sprocket is on the front. I don't have the proper exact spec of the hull but I think its a bit longer as compared to leopard 2. Tankograd has a walk around book on the subject.
