Hi,
I like the effect that you have achieved with the piece of ripped up sponge !...That is a clever idea.

Thank you! I realize I need a few more models under my belt before I can say I'm confident with these things but I'm pretty happy with it and the positive feedback is great, the tank is just about done now, I tried it out and seems to run well and all functions seem to work, il get some more pics up soon!

speaker upgrade
hi sheage i got a replacement speaker by taigen for my heng longs from ebay, it has a higher output and really does improve the standard heng long sound effects, all of them sound much better with out the expense of a new soundboard.it is a a direct swap same mounts and wiring, so a cheap and simple mod. it was about ten pounds to buy . hope this helps.

Re: tiger 1, my first build!
been doing some more painting and its now almost finished, the first pic is with a layer of dust on the lower hull, the following pics show added rust/corrosion/mud/oil layers plus the addition of some verlinden ammo crates/jerry cans, plus an Ariel marker flag and muzzle cover, coil of barbed wire and some German helmets on the side of the turret, a 200L fuel drum and an ABER 2m Ariel added. I know its not exactly historically accurate its more of a play around to see what I could do, all comments welcome
