Yup...they are pretty worthless on anything other than hard wood floors or short carpet. :)

One of our friends bought them, he said the same
He gave us a detailed run down of his, his were mostly sitting on a shelf as the performance was lacking.

There were some guys who fitted those MRAPS from trumpeter onto WPL chassis with far better success and performance, those WPL chassis can be made to work extremely well

After looking thru the web i have seen some other variants so have been looking at more armaments and additions to make for this model. A fully armoured set of plates looks like it could be easy enough to pull together
We still have the parts to make another 5 of these, so if anyone is wanting one let us know

What are the chances of you making a grill and a windscreen for me for a 1/6th Jeep static project?

So a wee update, we have decided to try and resin print the 1/4 ton truck tub
Think it might be a nice upgrade to the current model

Tub on fdm chassis

Just some teasing photos haha

I am sure the lucky person will post more pictures on this forum once they are done with it

Its printed in various different methods using bowden, direct drive fdm & sla resin.

The drivetrain is tried and tested and works incredibly well and has good power and control aswell as long run time

Keep your eyes peeled for more info as it progresses

The resin looks much, much better :)

Do you do a simple 3D printed radio for the jeeps?
