Aha! Thought that was an odd slip from someone clearly knowledgeable. Thanks again. Off to buy velcro.

Well it was never going to look great at this point but I'm almost finished with the turret swap.
I shall have to buy some Taigen metal jobs as they look a straight forward fit.
I now discover that the HL driver and radio op' hatches will not fit without my butchering either them or the deck.I shall have to buy some Taigen metal jobs as they look a straight forward fit.

Those look to be the ones I have on my Forgebear shopping list. Those and a decent pair of headlights.

Do be careful what you order because there are a number of different versions of the hatches on sale,
Some have a multitude of parts to make the hinge, The pictured item is exactly correct,
If you are fitting periscopes to the hatches I would do it before gluing the hatches in place.

I think I am about to upset someone

It's been a few days but I'm back to the task.
Deck progressing. This is definitely the most arduous part of the operation. No glamour whatsoever. Metal headlight prep. Shortly before the mount decided to detach itself while being drilled through. Better process on the other side. Success!
