Bravo Tom!

Great skin tones, I predict they are going to look fantastic when finished.

Wonderful tones. No clown make-up there!

Thanks for the kind words guys, this gives me a little push to do all the other crew I've been putting off.

Continuing with the leo crew ive been steadily working on them. You wouldnt think it but neatly painting the helmets blacks round the faces has probably been the hardest task. For the driver I decided to do that first. Much easier.

For the goggles some blue was added to the black, then a touch of white to each successive highlight. Then I use a high gloss lacquer for the final shine effect.

The uniforms are painted in the standard German camo, 4 green shades, some brown and some black. Time consuming but I like the effect. I'm considering a thin brown wash just to mute it slight, what do you think?

For the driver there was very limited clearance to have him him unbuttoned. I made a little box for him to sit in with magnets in the base. After some testing and toying with just using a head magnetised I decided I needed to retain at least the shoulders. To do this I needed to deepen the box about 10mm. Luckily there's nothing in the lower to get in the way. The diver just needs his uniform painting and I can call it done.

Hey Tom....How do I get a hold of this crew you have to command my Leo?

Fantastic ! I know how difficult it is to paint human flesh.

Thanks, Louis
