As usual, please enjoy wasting time watching me flail about dropping things and digressing into random thoughts while building this lovely tank.

Pitstain,
Now I am even more happy that I went with the Taigen Jagdpanther. I can watch your always educational and entertaining thread without worrying about 'keeping up with the Jones' ;o) Following along!

Was wondering when you were going to be back up and building...

you know, you could put the LED in paralell with one of the motors, you would need two diodes though. This way when the tank rolls forward --LIGHT! now backup no light.. Nifty huh?

You can get a real good deal on the micro LED's on Ebay, I have posted those up before.

Great build, I have a few of them. Currently I am working on a Jadgpanther II, should prove to be nifty too!

Cheers!
I needed a break from the constant builds/videos, it was putting a strain on my sleep and we had a foster dog we took in for a while, happy to be back in the dungeon now though!

Thanks for the motor tip, but my side of the coin to that conversation would be do headlights normally turn off when any form of motorized transportation is stopped or driven in reverse? I am happy with the continuously lit headlight.

I found the micro LEDs on Amazon, forgetting you already linked ot them before, if my grey matter was all there I actually would have credited you with the idea.

Can't wait to see your build man, you do great work!

Hey there Ian. Nice entertaining videos you are showing us. The Tamiya Jagdpanther has the better gun mechanics compared with the HengLong offering for sure. But detail wise HL is not bad. Hadn't I done JP already, I would be highly tempted to follow your route.
