It was a weekend of frustration and stooopidiy...
After finally realising that I was plugging in ch3-6 and not ch1-4, the Pershing is now operational!
But, I did replace all the stiff Tamiya wiring (sticky, aged connectors) with new silicone wires that are now the correct length too.
I now need a smaller battery than the 6000mAh 2S hard case LiPo's used in the Panzer III/StuG and T-34, so am waiting for Hobbyking to deliver a Zippy 4000mAh 2S later this week.
There's really no room at the front of the hull thanks to the turret rotation mechanism...
BTW, does Tamiya thinners (X-20A) dissolve stubborn glued items, as I have a stubborn fuel can that refuses to be detached from the rear deck?
