Re: Sherman Firefly Turrets...........
You need a super Sherman dmd and mf ideally. I have a spare of both due to changing to Pershing sounds...
I would use a Sherman turret ring, metal turret bracing and you should be able to fit recoil and elevation, at a squeeze.
There isn’t much elevation so I probably won’t bother in my T23 from Nick.

Hi Nick,
Excellent. If you're able to part with the Super Sherman DMD and MF units, I can give them a good home. Can you PM ?
Cheers,
Chris Preston,

Re: Sherman Firefly Turrets...........
This is my build and you don't have to purchase a turret. It's not that difficult and my conversion is covered step by step in the threads.

Yeah, the M4's and M4 composites/hybrids would mostly have had radial engines.

The GAA Ford V8 was in use from the M4A3 on. The israeli M51 didn't use the radial engine.Tiger6 wrote:You can use pretty much any combination of MF and DMD together, outside of the original T-01 and the unit in the Leopard 2 (and probably the new Type 10?)
The MF-03 will give you Ford V8 sounds - you might want to look around for the MF-07 from the M51 instead, as I think that one has the correct radial engine noises.

Cummins diesel is a great lump, it’s in my friends M51 Sherman. I put KV mf and dmd in my M52 model, sounds ok but a custom sound pack would be better.
