I am slightly biased with Tamiya, but they’ve never given me reason the doubt the quality. I must stop buying Sherman’s though, this is my fifth :D
Yes, and I've seen some of your posts on the Tamiya forum. :) Considering that I now have the Tamiya KT, Panther, Pz IV (awaiting Elmod), and the static Jagdpanther kit (also 1/16), I can understand the attachment, and must admit to a wee bit of bias myself. ;) Tho' I'm well away from the '12 steps' level myself. Still, four is on that rocky road......
It's a genuine pleasure building a kit that goes together so well. In fact, I'd probably have their whole range if they were half the price. The static Jagdpanther should convert well to full RC, but, as I mentioned in another thread, I bought it before Brexit takes Tamiya prices- possibly- stratospheric.
But FIVE Shermans? Now, that's more than bias: it's Shermo-collectomania. :haha:

Roy, I’ll get a photo of them all together :)

Canned - go for it! Always good to see another Sherman. I’m waiting for he Hooben one to come back in stock to try one out.

By all means, Adam! Do show the squadron. I recall being astonished :O by Louis' (Imcq11's) collection of Sherman variants; 'twas over 20, I believe; but I don't recall ever see five Tamiya Shermans on parade before :D

Little upgrade today - my T66 tracks arrived.

Great bit of kit, superbly cast and fairly light too.

 Very Bespoke, and very nice, Adam! While they'll make an impressive impact on and sand and soft soil, (Don't track impressions/indentations look cool!) I wonder what impact they'll have on the pocket. Anything that cool, must cost a bomb... 8O
Still, nothing but the best for the best (Tamiya), eh? :D

Small update, engine deck arrived and bonded in.

Been playing with some burnishing fluids for the metal tracks :)
