Time for an upgrade , the turret rotation servo has died . The little micro one with plastic gears stripped, metal gears from now on. Never liked the servo elevation with lever changed to a gear servo , fitted a spare to check while waiting for ones with more torque.

Very nice work Ronnie  I've long abandoned the plastic geared servos. I know that alignment and binding can kill even a metal servo. Your lighting is realistic and a really great touch!

Thanks mr rainford Servos with metal gears have arrived made brackets for the turret servo. Looked at the proper turret rotation unit for the leopard turret ring but it was 50 +euros with postage for the parts to make it up. Found a larger plastic cog , drilled out for a tight press fit in servo . Will fix the pot in the neutral position or use a couple of resistors.
Up and running again.
