Thanks Painless...still chugging along...Patience is a virtue...your right, it will be all worth it in the end.PainlessWolf wrote:Good morning, Burger!
Say Hello to Crazy Joe if you do fall overboard. His M36 TD was another build that caused sleepless nights. All the work and worry is worth it once the job is done and trundling around the back yard. Following along.

Painless

On the exterior where the brass meets the plastic, I used CA glue, but on each piece I soldered a brass rod that goes through the hull and on the inner side a swamped the protruding brass rod with JB Weld...I think this should hold pretty good, but it stuff starts to tear off....I will just call it battle damage and paint some rust effects in the empty spot...

Re: Operation Tamy T1 face lift
This session is for the convoy light. As some of you may know, I was toying with the idea back on page 4 with making my own SMD LED convoy light. I had them all made up and just needed to figure out the mount. Well, in that amount of time I played around with the SMD LED's so much I broke them!!!
Like my Dad used to say..."BOY don't play with it to much or you'll break it"!! Sure enough I broke it!!! No problem, I fabbed up some more and found a PE set for the mount by "WECOHE". I wont play with this set now that I know how fragile they are. I must say, it was a challenge to put this together, but the good news is, there wasn't to many parts. The trick was to solder one part and not have another part fall apart. Probably not going to hard mount this until later so I don't mess up the Lense on the convoy light. Well here it is...
