Hey Soeren,
I'm not 100% sure on the real Tiger tank, although from photos they look very close in size. As far as the kits for the RC T1, these are from two separate kits. The Rear blocks are from Aber photo etch and needed to be bent into shape.

The side blocks are solid turn brass from Areo-mate, that actually take a miniature bolt to hold side mud guards on.

I measured them both and they are very close in size.
Rear Exhaust shield PE blocks were 2.1mm

Hope this helps

 Thank you very much. :)
That is what I was looking for. I have these aeromate pieces and thought I could use them for the exhaust covers as well to make em a little more detailed. As I didn't plan to buy the Aber set and maybe leave one off, as I like the look of the armored exhaust pod covers to, that would otherwise be completely hidden.

Hi Soeren,
Yes I agree with you, I think they would add really nice detail to the rear hull with a exhaust shroud missing to show the mounting blocks. I love implementing diversity in a build so the viewer won't get bored. Are you posting some of your build? I would like to see the pics. Good luck and happy tanking

Your input on that was very helpfull. My progress is over at my thread. Added a bit to the backplate and primed the exhaust sections. ATM I am also working on the jack.

My plan was to finish up lower hull Zimmerit this week, and work on a little mechanical by installing the power plant, but I ran into an issue with the power plant install. For some reason the transmission and motors would not fit correctly. So I have to figure out what the issue is, but in the mean time I did some more detailing.

Great update :). What did you use for the Zim repair? And what wire size is it for the tie down loops?
