Taigen periscopes fit with tiny shaving off the lugs on the periscope holders.

Painted them red brown/earth brown with a brush on the low parts.

When dry apply a thinned mix of humbrol sand wash that sits in some of the holes.

Run gun metal over with a cloth.

Some years ago I bought a pair of Heng Long Metal Tracks for a Panzer 4, they were a lovely shiny silver :lolno: ,
I headed into "Halfords" they were selling a metal staining product which was easy to apply and to this day the tracks have retained their stain,
It might be worth checking them out if you are darkening Metal Tracks.

I have 2 sets of taigen black painted metal tracks that need doing, I like the look of Ad lav's ,but I will look into the metal stainer. cheers :thumbup:
