Re: Tamiya-Tiger I early vehicle
Hello friends of model making,
nothing has happened here for a long time, but it's still alive.
The Tiger was one of the models I was able to save in the night of the flood.
Unfortunately I lost the remote control and some electrical parts.
Alex, a good friend helped me out with paint and material, I had lost almost everything in the night of the flood or was no longer usable.
The base color has been applied and I can now start with subtle brightening and pigments.
Afterwards I will add a commander, which I bought from AfV-modeller - very good quality.
Here are a few more photos so you can see how it's progressing.....
with kind regards,Guido

Hello friends of model making,
first of all, I wish everyone a healthy and successful 2024.
The work is not finished yet, but I would like to keep you up to date.
To explain, the tank turret is only laid on for easier painting.
As soon as I am satisfied I will take a few photos in daylight, the light in the cellar is not ideal for good photos.
with kind regards,Guido

OOOH! The brackets and tie-downs for the tools and cables are scrumptuous. And the weld cuts on the armor are amazing. And there is so much more to applaud!

Re: Tamiya-Tiger I early vehicle
Good evening,
the first step of the crew is done, I had found a nice figure from "scale fanatics".
It's a good thing I hadn't attached the commander's cupola yet, so the Oberleutnant could take his seat.
I quickly realised that I hadn't painted a figure for a long time, maybe I should do some more detail painting.
with kind regards,Guido
