Better start looking for some aftermarket parts that i can't make out of brass ,copper or styrene.. Just had to buy as it was a good price.

Glad we are still in or it would be a visit to the PO for a pickup/customs charge.

Jagdpanther start. 1st problem is don't think anyone makes the metal upgrade for the elevation and traverse plastic parts now . Will see if i can make them , the traverse has bearings but not on the elevation . Will try and add bearings to elevation.

Ludwigs does a plastic version, about a 1/4 the way down the page

Thanks for the info , had a look . The Ludwigs one is plastic but gives an alternative build option to make one out of metal. The Daryl Turner site has none , may be he only makes a batch when he has enough orders.

Decided to make it , thick brass sheet . Waiting for another Elmod unit , the brass traverse and elevation bracket will be used with servos to see whats best.

Made the base for the elevation / traverse barrel unit. ETO only make the brackets , made the base with the bearings and the stop studs for the traverse. Its good to have spare parts for emergencies. :D

The plastic kit version
P5173207.jpg
the brass version , made the base as the plastic stop studs are a weak part especially if the barrel snags .
