1944 WWII Soviet Dual Axle Transport Truck

Heng Long/WPL are now manufacturing 1/16 scale RC trucks, so it seemed sensible to create a forum area dedicated to the amazing things that members are doing with them. Post your builds, mods, and tips here.

Afternoon, Gentlemen!
Terry, Thank you, Sir. Just muddling along. ;o) Willi! Thank you, I got the idea from one of your many fine truck Builds! The chain came on a spool from Hobby Lobby here in the States ( or as Herman likes to refer to them as "the Dollhouse Stores" ;o) Thank you, Mick! Carrying on, carrying on. ;o)
regards all,
Painless

Have you got your tail lights sorted out yet?

Good Afternoon!
Lee! Thank you, Sir. I am still fiddling with the detailing in the cab. I would like for it to have some eye candy but not so much so that a driver figure that got bumped off his magnet mount would trash the cab by rattling around in it. ( i.e. the hand brake lever is attached under the floorboard with a small screw ) Max! I do have a set of lights I am going to use. The original truck had one tail light over a rudimentary plate mount but for military use, I will install two red ones.
regards,
Painless

Cool. I have files for a couple different kinds of tail light cans so if you need anything, just holler.

Max, Good evening,
I'll tell you what I could use, a scale comparison between the cab of the JJRC Q60 I have and one of the KONG CA30 ( really nice ) RC trucks that look like the Q60. If the cab scales are close or match, I have a ready made source of cab detail parts on Ebay since the plastic cabs and detail bits for those KONG trucks along with other parts sets often wind up for sale separately there. Anyone have one of each and is willing to give me the skinny on them? I cannot find any photos of them sitting side by side online. Not surprising I guess since they are individually aimed at two different market segments.
regards,
Painless

P.S. In other news, tonight, I did scratch a floor heater and some detail for the pedals on the floor plate I have. Pics when I have a few more taken.

How much does a kong truck go for? You see, now you've made me curious. I just might buy one just to see if they're the same. If it's not too much money, of course.
