Mad 3s testing with my dual 370 setup. 4s test soooooon
phpBB [video]

This will be my Vietnam era prime mover, but throttle curve will be tuned for slower response. The torque in this is unreal!

You are correct, thats why i upgrade these axles to run all metal, the plastic gears on this setup last 3seconds. i know cause i tried it several times haha. JJRC axles last a little longer, they last at least 15 seconds on this motor setup lol

It is another reason i am making and designing my own range of axles which i can 3d print the casings and buy in metal gears from other model kits

The thing i love about these motors is the torque and the reduction gear braking. Means when you lift off the throttle even with a load it will stop and hold itself on an incline, which is something i see alot of people struggling with especially on Crawlers. The same setup is going in my own Land Rover Crawler build with a MN series truck

Mad stuff for mad builds from a mad person hehe
:)

Cool, thank you. On my list of projects one of the ones that's very important to me is to one day do a Land Rover like they use to film the big cats in Africa. I'll be watching your build with interest.

Here is my last MN 90 build. Sort of Camel Trophy type look.

Simple build, but looks cool.
