Yes pretty exciting news. Jussek have you ordered yours yet and the bits needed to complete the system?Image
I've ordered mine, but it'll be on the slow boat from Hong Kong. Looking forward to getting it into the SU-152, though!

Just to let you guys know HobbyKing got the Tamiya Adapter Set posted finally, you can get it here. These are not such a great deal price-wise, you could almost make them yourself for less, especially if you were making several sets at once (instructions are on the Downloads page).

You only need these if you want a plug-and-play solution for the Tamiya IR Apple / Tamiya recoil unit.

I ordered my open Panzer board on Friday the 7th and it arrived today the 11th to the states from China today. Very quick service. I've attached some photos of the packaging and details for anyone interested.

Comes with wiring connections and mounts with screws to secure to your tank.

Now to order my other parts to complete the setup Image

P.S.

This Is not the shipping package

The board is neatly packed inside a larger box with bubble wrap surrounding this smaller box.

Hi,

today my Open Panzer Control Boards arrived...
Hobby King have also new Brushless Motors in 380th Size, i ordered two 3200kV . :D
Here the Testbench:

The parameterization of the Controlbaord is very easy.
Connect Reciever to the Board and plug USB in, the Board powered on.
Start the Open Config and push "Connect" - If this done push "Read Radio":

Now you can sort the Channels how you will...
All other is easy an is very good described at the Open Panzer Project Homepage by Wiki and Videos.

Cheers

Very cool to see these Carl and Jürgen! I have not laid eyes on one yet myself (I mean one from the factory), although I have one on the way. I'm looking forward to seeing some tanks crawling about with the TCB inside!

Hi all I've placed my order for the sabertooth controller from the vendor Luke reccomended.

Now to source a sound card. I know the benedini mini is compatible as is the Taigen sound card. A few questions

Does Torro stock and sell the Taigen sound board?

Can the Beier electronics board also be used as a sound board?

I'm very familiar with Beier electronics (very nice product) and thought I would ask.

Everyones help is appreciated

Cheers

Carl
