3D printable Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer
3D printable Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer
Hi,
i have to do this little beast, because i dont have any tank from the world war II.I want to join historical RC battles, so i have prepared this.
Classic gearboxes dont fit to Hetzer, because frontal armor is too close to the axle.
I have used geared JGA25-370 geared motors and closed belts for 3d printers (GT2).
https://www.openimpulse.com/blog/produc ... -rpm-12-v/
There is 4 servomotors inside - two of them for the horizontal and vertical movement of the gun, one for the reciol and one 360° servo for the machinegun.
I have figured out a design for the workable gunners periscope and workable hatches.3D printable track tensioner is a standard for my builds.
I have printed a very first prototype in configuration "everything printed" - with 3D printed jack, shovel and other details.I will try a version with a accessories maded from the steel (later).
This one is printed with the 0,3mm nozzle, 0,1mm layer.Materials ASA and PET(G).I have used XTC-3D for the surface preparation and AMMO of Mig Jimenez colors.
Photos from the inside coming soon

It looks as if it has just emerged from a Tamiya-quality mould, or the most recent of HL's pressings. The lines are wonderfully crisp and detailed. I'm sure there will be enthusiastic takers is you make a few, or post the print files

Looks amazing. Great quality.

Thank you, everybody.
I have just average 3D printer with 0,3mm nozzle.
Clean and detailed 3D printed model is a question of the design and postprocessing.
And YES, i will release this STL files in few months. Its my goal to provide STL files of the (really) 3D printable RC tank kits.

You can always tell a good model when it’s designed with the limitations of 3D printing in mind!
