Yes it will, remember those motors i showed you, they are a decent size and massive torque. Just need to get you jib and crane base solid and your on a winner
Honestly I worry less about the motors, and more about the boom snapping :S

I'm sure Frank will back me up on this 8O

Can you print the boom with hollow and slide welding rod inside or make fine metal boom and just 3d print a fascia

Honestly I'm veering towards disposable crane arms right now, not figured out a way to re-enforce it :S

The Stabokrane stalled for the same reason :'(

If I were building this I would probably reinforce the jib with aluminium angle, and design in a slot in the jib to slide it into. Great design - keep up the great work

Did a bit more, lots of small detail tweaks but not much visible progress to show for it

Very impressive. Perhaps mount a black painted metal rod up through the middle of the boom as has been suggested. Like I tell some of my elderly patients, “No heavy lifting.”
Some 3D printing materials seem to have Osteoporosis.

I was hoping to do the boom in ABS, but I'm not having any luck with printing in that material (and PETG isn't working out a whole lot better).

Looking good.
Yeah we have slowed pur printers down as its cold and they work hard when it's this cold.
Struggling to keep 12°C.
Anyways glad to see you getting on with the projects and that crane is going to be amazing.
