The infantry carts look great Will 8) hopefully you'll get a PC up and running before too long so we can see all the other goodies that you are designing

Cheers, Lee.

Sorry guys, but my CAD has halted due to death of computer which i just can't afford to fix or build a replacement. So all i have now are a few older models which i hadn't yet got through to the printer. So i can focus on those now, but that buggers up my Christmas Holiday plans doh!

May go and try and update my old desktop which has been sitting for past 8 years and see if i can bring that online.

:(
What's wrong with the PC that has expired?
It be fubar. It was really slow recently. I wiped it out and started back and it was ok, although performance not as it once was. But now seems total death as light comes on and does nothing. I be ripping it apart to check, but it's an old laptop and 4years old. I needed excuse for new desktop machine, but was hoping to wait into new year doh!
I am sourcing parts as we speak for custom build. Seems these days no one does this anymore and all local shops say no we can build but why would we want to sell parts to others to build, that defeats the point they say. Then they say 1700 and I start laughing and say that's why I build my own workstations because you get totally ripped off if someone builds a custom. Hopefully have a case tomorrow and then can buy in motherboard, cpu and gpu etc. I have to go buy online rather than 'support' my local business.
I used to build my own PCs but these days when I need an upgrade I go for refurbished DELL Precision workstations as they are rock solid. Places like ITZOO & dellrefurbished,co.uk usually have quite a high turnover of stock. I am still using an 8 year old Precision mobile workstation with a dock to host a couple of photographic film scanners.

So the Pak40 has been slow, but i finally got to the point it starts looking like a real artillery piece. Still alot to do, but it looks good and it works. Few areas need more strength, but this is easy to overcome. Hope you like

Beware if you take your tank close to this thing, it might just blow you away!

So still need to add springs for front sus, but bushes installed. Wheels have bearings. The gun carriage articulates up & down on brass bushes, the sliding shield also works aswell to stop stray bullets getting the operators behind. There is also working traverse and the legs fold in and out and lock in place. Just need to also sort out a tow hitch system so can be towed around.
The legs have handles to make still, but they are just details. So far sooooo good. I love this thing. More to come for sure

Martin the recoil does in a way work, the barrel system slides back, but i not sure it free moving enough or big enough to get it working. But Wayne wants a 1/6 version, so i reckon that be a good place to start with recoil systems

Have a word with Frank, he's managed to get recoil into one of his 6pdr guns.

In other news, I'll soon have a suitable towing vehicle for you...
