Excellent work. He looks like he's in a bad mood. Maybe because he has to carry all that heavy stuff around? 8) :haha:

Many years ago I spent some time near you, in Ansbach, and I visited Mannheim a few times to deliver aircraft for maintenance. You live in a beautiful part of the world. 8) :thumbup:
When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!

It's been a very long time, and I only got to fly up there three or four times, to deliver or pick up birds. We only had two places that we had to take aircraft to for higher level maintenance, Mannheim and Mainz, and that's how we referred to them. The view from the air from Mannheim to Ansbach is really something special. One of those "once-in-a-lifetime" kind of views, and as a PFC still in his teens, the front seat of an AH-1 was a very cool place to see it from. 8)
